[Insight-users] question on reading VTK volume

Quan,

Did you rescaled the intensity window in Volview
after loading the Volume ?

It is very likely that you are loading a volume
with intensity values that are very low, and the
default intensity windowing parameters make all
the image appear dark.


Please load the datasets in VolView, and look at
the Image Information tab. It will show you the
min and max intensity values in the image.

You can reset the intensity windowing parameters
by cliking on the image and typing "r".
