   If you have taken the time of reading the section of the
   ITK Software Guide that we suggested you to read, you would
   have found by now that the initialization of the transform
   is done with the following code:


   typedef RegistrationType::ParametersType ParametersType;
   ParametersType initialParameters(
      transform->GetNumberOfParameters() );

   initialParameters[0] = 0.0;  // Initial offset in mm along X
   initialParameters[1] = 0.0;  // Initial offset in mm along Y

   registration->SetInitialTransformParameters( initialParameters );
