Subject: Patient Contributed Image Repository open for testing
To: comp.protocols.dicom
Hi all
You may recall that back in June I wrote a post entitled "if you were
a
patient, would you contribute images to a publicly accessible research
repository ?"
Well, I got a sufficiently positive response that I have been
exploring the
feasibility of a repository to which members of the general public can
contribute their own digital medical images to the public domain.
The project is currently in a test phase as a pilot, not for general
public
use, but I would be interested in your feedback on this concept and
this
site, if you care to look at it, and even better, if you can to
contribute
your own images and related scanned documents to the public domain
through
this mechanism:
http://www.pcir.org/
I have also written a blog entry describing the approach, at:
