[Insight-users] ITK MRA segmentation

Hi Irene,


A) We have used the Region growing filters (such as
    ConfidenceConnected and ConnectedThreshold) for
    segmenting blood vessels from MRA datasets.

    You may also want to apply to preprocess them with Vesselness filter.

B) For segmenting tissues from T1 & T2 images you may
    want to use statistical methods, such as KMeans
    and MRFImageFilter.
