[Insight-users] memory consumtion by Vessel Enhancing Diffusion Filter

Dear ITKers,

I am trying to use the Vessel Enhancing Diffusion Filter from IJ.

The filter works fine except its memory consumption.
I just made measurements and I got some weird number that is as high as 
180 times input image size.

Did anyone measure the memory usage for this filter as well?
What's the value? Any ideas how to make this algorithm to be more "modest"
in a sense of resource consumption?
