[Insight-users] Qquestion about how to construct a narrow band for level set method?

Dear Specialists, 
   
  I meet a problem to ask your help. I try to use the level set method to segment blood vessels from MRA images. Now I have obtained main arteries as initial surface. For quicken the curve evolution‎, I want to employ narrow band method to evolve the surface. I want to know:
  1. What function(filter) is able to construct a narrow band around surface to be evolved.
  2. What is the stopping criterion for evolution? 
   
  Though I know of itkNarrowBandLevelSetImageFilter, itkNarroBandCurvesLevelSetImageFilter, itkNarrowBandThresholdSegmentationLevelSetImageFilter, I don’t know how to use these function. 
  Moreover, would you like to tell me how to learn to use one function by explanation in Doxygen, because there aren’t application examples about most functions in ITK Software Guide.
