Ok, everything works fine!

For the record, one may build ITK 3.6 for Python 2.5 with:
(a) VS 2008 Express
(b) ITK 3.6 official release (http://www.itk.org/HTML/Download.htm)
including WrapITK
(c) CableSWIG-ITK 3.6 official release (http://www.itk.org/HTML/Download.htm)
+ CVS version of gccxml (http://www.gccxml.org/HTML/Download.html)
