[Insight-users] New Web Page on ITK Project Statistics : Ohloh

Bill,

Yeap, this is strange.
It reports one file with GPL license and another one with GPL 2.0.


However, grepping for "GPL" only  returns the following:


zion [202] grep -r GPL *
Code/Common/itkMersenneTwisterRandomVariateGenerator.h://      - Changed
license from GNU LGPL to BSD
Copyright/README.txt:                  package "Teem" (not in ITK) is still
under GPL license
Copyright/README.txt:                  its subdirectory matlibs it has a GPL
license.
Binary file Examples/Data/RatLungSlice1.raw matches
Binary file
Testing/Data/Baseline/BasicFilters/PushPopTileImageFilterTest.png matches
Utilities/gdcm/gdcmConfigure.h.in:/* This was important as long as GDCM is
LGPL */


and the more narrow:
zion [205] grep -ri GNU * | grep -i Public
Utilities/NrrdIO/000-README.txt:** Teem is licensed under the GNU Lesser
Public License. The


They are simply comments in the code and in auxiliary files.


It makes us wonder how they detect the licenses inside a project...  :-/
