I don't know about Windows in particular, but ITK is known to have many
issues in 64 bit on any platform.  There are many many places in the
code where pointer-sized objects are unsafely converted to integers of
various sizes.  I know Luis has been hacking away at these, but
realistically, I think it will take many months.  Happily, compiler
warnings are helpful in finding such problems.
