Hi Luis,

  Andre Brodtkorb has written a nice set of CMake macros that make compiling on the Cell very easy.  He has shared them with me, and we've been using them extensively and making some modifications.  I would suggest you contact Andre directly about contributing the code to the CMake project.

  The Cell SPU compilers reside on Fedora x86 linux machines.  The SPU code needs to be linked using the proper tools, then added as a library to the main PPU executable.  Andre's macros do this very nicely.  ITK will compile out of the box on the Cell itself, which runs a version of Fedora, but to use the SPU's you need to cross compile using the Cell SDK.  The process is the same for PS3 and IBM's Cell Blades.

Are you using a Playstation3 for this ?
or another IBM cell based machine ?

Can we assume that you are running Linux in this machine and that you are planning to use gcc ?

The first thing to try is building CMake on this machine.
