[Insight-users] importing/saving 3D meshes in ITK?

Dear All,

I'd like to open a surface mesh file in ITK, specifically an STL file (I
don't mean standard library).

Are there any examples to look at? The ITK software guide talks about meshes
and such,
but nowhere it is clear what filetype is (to be) used nor is there an
example where a surface mesh
is written.
