[Insight-users] the wider edge prevent the level set to approach the true contour

Dear Lui and All:

I am using GeodesicActivcContourLevelSet to segment CT liver. Most of the part is ok. But at the slice where lung existed, the gradianmanitue contians very wider edge, the detected contour can never approach the true bounday.

I alread threshold the image, so this wide edge is not the effect of high intensity difference between lung and liver.

Any suggestions.
