[Insight-users] using 2d series for 3d registration

Hi Hassan,

  This doesn't sound like a good idea.

  If you try to do a 3D registration using only pairs
  of 2D slices at a time, it is difficult to see how
  you will identify any out-of-plane rotations.

  What is your motivation for using such a method ?

  Do you have concerns about memory consumption ?
