[Insight-users] How to define registration error without external markers

I am applying ICP to do medicinal registration. The result is fine by eye
judgement. But I need to clearly know the registration error defined in
measurement unit such as mm. The problem could be solved if some external
markers can be placed on registration objects as a fiducial mark. But due to
environment restriction, external markers are not allowed.

Anyone who has experienced in defining registration error without external
markers?
