[Insight-users] Difference between itk::Image and itk::OrientedImage

Hi,

I would like to know if there's still a difference between itk::Image and
itk::OrientedImage, specially with regard to IndexToPhysical computations ? 
A google search points me to mail (in 2008)  from B.Lorensen in which it was
said that itk community was working to suppress these differences.
