[Insight-users] question about DeformableModel and 2D

I have questions about DeformableModel in ITK

(1)DeformableModel in ITK is applicable to 2D Images?
Because DeformableModel in ITK looks like existing for only 3D.

(2)Does DeformableModel in ITK use GVF snake?
