[Insight-users] Read/Write 4D images using itk::RawImageIO

Hi All,

I was looking at the Itk documentation and it says the following information
about the tk::RawImageIO:

"This class reads and writes 2D or 3D images. Because raw data has little
useful information built into the format, the user is responsible for
specifying pixel type, dimensions, spacing, origin, header type, and so on."


The fact that it only reads and writes 2D and 3D images, and not 4D, is a
limitation of the implementation or of the image format?
