[Insight-users] Measuring tumor diameter

Maybe you can help me. My wife's Pet Scan for a lung cancer indicates: the
lesion measures 5.2cm in maximal AP dimension and 4.2 to 4.5 cm in maximal
transverse dimension.
 
Can you determine what the mass measures in maximum diameter from this?
