Hi
Philips uses private compression method for DICOM images in CT scanner,
workstation and portal. Therefore you cannot use images directly copied from
the Portal.
You have two options:
1. If you have CD burner define try to send the images to the CD and burn
them - through options in the applications
2. send the data to other DICOM workstation or pacs and take the images from
there

For what it's worth, I ran dciodvfy (a DICOM verification tool) on the
image, and it gives the ouput below. I'm not really familiar with
interpreting the output from this, but others here might be (failing
which, you could always try the comp.protocols.dicom newsgroup). The
thing which looks particularly suspicious to me is the line:
Error - Missing attribute Type 1C Conditional Element=<PixelData>
Module=<ImagePixelMacro>
But I may be barking up the wrong tree here...
