[Insight-users] reading freesurfer volume files

Hi all,
     I needed some advise on how to go about reading MGH and MGZ files in
ITK?
Thanks to this list, i have been quite successful in reading the surface
files, and
now I would like to experiment with the volume files. I looked around, there
seems to be an itkMGHImageIO class distributed with Slicer3: Is this a
standard
filter in ITK to read freesurfer files?
