[Insight-users] How could I get part of information from a mhd file?

Hi all,

I want to convert series of separate images into one image series, all my
images are raw images and I have a mhd file.
How could I get the number of images( NDims(3) ) and the name of each images
from the mhd file?

my mhd file as follows:

NDims = 3
DimSize = 570 670 9
ElementSpacing = 0.333 0.333 0.333
Position = 0 0 0
ElementByteOrderMSB = False
ElementNumberOfChannels = 3
ElementType = MET_UCHAR
ElementDataFile = LIST 2

vw1001cRGB.raw
vw1002aRGB.raw
vw1002bRGB.raw
