[Insight-users] how to open a 16-bit image

Hi Soheil, 
Usage of unsigned short is just fine in ITK in reading out 16 bit variables,
although they've used "unsigned char" throughout the ITKSoftwareGuide to
assign 16 bit memory to variables.
