It appears that these two links are no longer valid.. They have moved to :

  http://public.kitware.com/pub/itk/Data/DTI/RawData/dwi.nhdr
  http://public.kitware.com/pub/itk/Data/DTI/RawData/dwi.img.gz

Also, the reference, gradient, reconstructed, and FA images have been placed
for your edification at :
  http://public.kitware.com/pub/itk/Data/DTI/Reconstructed/

Try this example out. Then try it on your data....
