I saw on the ITK Release 4 wiki page some discussion (as of July 2010) about replacing the VNL backend with something like Eigen(3?). I'm wondering if there are any more details about whether a new linear algebra back-end will be considered and if so if any of the evaluation has been done yet? Thanks, Dan
