Ok, so what exactly do you have in those slices? is it a  binary volume
resulting from a segmentation? if it is, and you want to see the surface you
have to:

   - Load your data - the file name will initially be in bold front, and the
   "Filters" menu will be grayed out.
   - Clic "Apply": now the file name is in normal font, and you can access
   the "Filters" menu.
   - Go to: Filters > Common > Contour
   - Clic "Apply"

You should be able to see the surface of your segmentation. . .

If is not a binary volume, then do the first 2 steps an play with the
filters until you get what you want :)
