Thanks for the info.

No I have not used Rapidminer.
I think this a good feature for ITK to have since its very useful, I used the lstsq function of python scipy.linalg

Hi Leila,
Have you tried to use the Rapidminer? It has an image processing
extension and also using the ITK Java wrapper you might be able to 
custom built your own desired algorithms.

Hi everyone
does anyone know of  if linear regression can be used with itk. I have to calculate quadratic coefficients for a large 2048*2048 image (pixel by pixel) and found statistical packages such as R extremely slow.
