[Insight-users] what is .raw file?

Hi guys

I have a few .raw files that I have to work with. Could anyone tell me what
a .raw file is and how I can read it with ITK?

The files are supposed to include the 3d models of some bones, but I
couldn't find anything about them in the ITK users' guide. I'm supposed to
produce "digitally reconstructed radiographs" with these models.
