[Insight-users] Opening compressed images

Hi , 

I am trying to open compressed dicom images (jpeglossless, lossy , 2000 )
with the itk::ImageFileReader
but it takes a lot of time while loading when reader->Update() acctually it
takes more time than the un compressed image format..

I wanna know why ? and if there's a flag or something i shall set to open it
as compressed ?

Any help will be appriciated
