[Insight-users] questions about AddImageFilter

hello everyone,
i got a problem when using AddImageFilter,its detailed description says:
"   Warning:
   No numeric overflow checking is performed in this filter.    “

however,i want to set the pixel-wise==255 (my images are 8-bits scale images),when overflow happens.how can i manage it?
