[Insight-users] how itk save the deform field image?

Hello everyone,
just want to confirm how ITK save the deformfield image.

to my knowledge
it should be continuous memory and has the format

fx1 fy1 fz1  fx2 fy2 fz2 fx3 fy3 fz3, ......

my understanding is right?
