Hello Jewel,
In addition to WrapITK, there is the new SimpleITK interface to ITKv4.0. We should be tagging the first public beta in a couple of weeks. It currently has support for C#. More information can be found here:http://www.itk.org/Wiki/ITK_Release_4/SimpleITK
SimpleITK, is a more simplified interface to the image processing parts of ITK, it does not expose the pipeline or the C++ templates. 
Here is an example of what this interface looks like in C++:http://erie.nlm.nih.gov/~blowek1/SimpleITK/SimpleGaussian_8cxx-example.html
We hope to integrate the usage of SimpleITK with WrapITK.
