[Insight-users] SimpleITK and Transforms

Hello,

You are correct that we do not have the SimpleITK interface to transforms yet. It is part of the forth coming wrapping of the registration framework.

However, for your particular example it can still be done in SimpleITK. By using manipulating the Direction matrices of the images during resampling.

The ResampleFilter has the "SetOutputDirection" and "SetOutputOrigin" methods which could be used to accomplish a rigid transformation[1]. After the resampling the direction and origin should be manually set to their true value.
