[Insight-users] watershed Filter and 3D Mesh

Good Morning,
I'm working on 3D mesh. I have some questions about watershed segmentation
please:
- can  I apply the 3D watershed segmentation on all 3D image files ( such as
*.ply , *.off , *.obj ..)???
- if ok, is it possible after the applying the watershed segmentation, to
retrieve the cells, edges and points for each area ( region) in order to
reconstruct a mesh from them???
