VTK_DIR is the folder that you built VTK in not the source. If you ran
the INSTALL target you can also use the folder you installed VTK in
however I do not recommend using the INSTALL target in windows
especially if you want to debug and use dlls. Remember that it is not
safe to mix Visual Studio debug and release dlls or also not safe to
mix Visual Studio versions.
