[Insight-users] mathematical morphology in Run Length Encoding space?

Hi all,

LabelObject implements a Run Length Encoding of arbitrary image regions.
I am wondering if anyone here knows about mathematical morphology 
operators (e.g. dilation & erosion) implemented to work directly in the 
RLE space?
I know itk::ObjectMorphologyImageFilter, but I'd like to avoid 
converting to a temporary voxel-based representation...
