[Insight-users] Get number of elements of a 3D image

Dear all,
could anybody suggest how to get the number of elements along the three
directions of a 3D image?

My real purpouse is to apply a nonlinear voxel-wise transformation on a 3D
image with an iterator, but in my implementation (based on the one from
the example Examples/Iterators/ImageRegionIterator.cxx of ITK) I need the
number of elements along the three directions. Are there any wiser ways to
apply this nonlinear map?
