[Insight-users] ITK 4.2.10 compilation takes really long on Windows 7

Hi,

I used cmake 2.8.10 to configure, tried both VS 2010 and VS 2012 Express, on
a Windows 7 Enterprise OS. After VS loaded the project, it just takes really
long (hours) to scan and load up all the files (every time when I switch
build type from "debug" to "release", it repeats the same process). Then
finally when it's ready to compile, it just seems hang up at "checking build
system". I had to abort it after nothing come out of it after more than 10
hours (over night).

Is this normal?
