[Insight-users] ITK x DICOM x Center and Width window

How itk does to deal with the tags "Window center" - (0028,1050)  and
"Window width" - (0028,1050)? How the values contained into these tags are
used when i want to display an image? I know what they are but my doubt is
how itk uses they to represent an image that can be displayed by other
library.
