[Insight-users] pixel values change just by reading them ?

Hello all

i have a really strange problem: I am reading a series of files with the
image file series reader , then i split them up in smaller subvolumes. When
i reopen the smaller volumes and compare intensity values the image i wrote
to file is darker than the one i read. 

It is 3d data in 8bit  so im using IUC3 
The pixel values are examined in Fiji

can somebody help ?
