[Insight-users] cannot open DICOM with ITK 4.3.1

Sorry to answer to an old post. 

I managed to solve the issue that was not related to the ITK version but
rather to GCC. I tried to compile everything with gcc 4.3 instead of the
platform provided gcc 4.8, and the images got opened.

Is anybody else experiencing the same issue with gcc 4.8?
