Thanks for getting back to me. I get the following

     sh-4.2$ which cmake
     /usr/bin/cmake

     sh-4.2$ /usr/bin/cmake --version
     cmake version 3.0.0-rc4

     CMake suite maintained by Kitware, Inc. (kitware.com).
