When I asked you if you checked out the code, I meant if you used version
control software to access the source code, e.g.,  git-clone
<http://git-scm.com/docs/git-clone>   or  svn-checkout
<http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.7/svn.ref.svn.c.checkout.html>  .
Regardless, it seems that you downloaded the 2.4.0 release.

What version of MSVC are you using (2008, 2010, 2012, or 2013)?

What is the error that you are getting when you try to compile the code?

What steps have you take in order to try to build the code? (be as detailed
as possible)
