[vtkusers] Can anyone help

Hello All

I am having whole lot of trouble with importing a vrml file using the
vtkVrmlimporter2.0. Has any one got any
experience on this?.
Sometimes vtk does not render at all, sometimes crash and some times vtk
renders double objects where as
the vrml browser consistently shows the correct image on the screen.....

Is there  a vtkvrmlimporter1.0 (to import  a vrml 1.0 file)

For me getting a studiomax is out of the question. Would really appreciate
any help
