[vtkusers] vtkMaskPoints vs. vtkMaskPolyData

Hi,

what is the difference between these two classes? 

These pipelines work:

vtkPolyDataReader -> vtkMaskPolyData -> vtkPolyDataMapper
vtkPolyDataReader -> vtkMaskPoints -> vtkDelaunay2D -> vtkPolyDataMapper

But why do I need two different filters to mask the input??? I'm quite
confused (and it took me days to find this out).
