[vtkusers] Cutting out the center of a plot

I wish to cut out the center of a plot using a bounding box kind of like using 
vtkGeometryFilter in reverse.  Instead of retaining what is clipped, I want to 
retain everything but what is clipped.

Is there an easy way to do this?
