[vtkusers] transformation under interactor

Hello,

I am new to VTK and am using it to rendering some wavefont data(*.obj file),  I am using the interactor to render the data, the problem I have now is that I need to extract the data after some transformation I have done in the render window. But since the rotation was done with the camera and not the data, when I use the vtkOBJWriter object to write the data back to file, it is the original data set without any transformation. I want to know if there is any way that I can get the transformed set of data after the transformation take place using the interactor?
