[vtkusers] A request for the implementation of ShallowCopy() in vtkDataSetMapper

Can I please put in a request for :

 

void ShallowCopy (vtkAbstractMapper *m) 

To be implemented in vtkDataSetMapper?

 

I have been using vtkPolyDataMapper where it is implemented but when I
switched to using vtkDataSetMapper it took me a while to find the
problem! It would be nice to have it implemented in vtkDataSetMapper,
unless there are compelling technical reasons not to.
