[vtkusers] C++ Gui file

Does anyone have a simple C++ GUI example using vtkInteractorStyle/vtkInteractorStyleUser to select "something" by moving/clicking the mouse in a visualization of a 3-D structured data set ? 
I'm not quite there yet as a C++ programmer but do well with examples!
