[vtkusers] How To Pick An Actor Without vtkRenderWindowInteractor?

I use Python/Tkinter/VTK.

I don't use vtkRenderWindowInteractor because I use Tkinter to create my own
camera control. The problem is: it seems impossible to pick without an
interactor.
