Hi everyone,

Being a newbie to vtk without decent documentation I've great
difficulties
to render a 3d data set.
Can somebody give me the simplest and shortest method to do this.

My data set consists of one contiguous file with 128x128x128 data points
(floats).
It is organized as 128 planes of 128 lines of 128 points (MRI data).

-Do I have to use a reader or (if not existing) do I have to declare a
data
object and read the data by hand ?
-Do I have to use a mapper ?

Our library has ordered the 'Visualization Toolkit User Guide version 4'.
Has somebody read it ? Is the book usable ?

With kind regards,

Larry de Graaf
